Reminders for the week: | QAE @ Sounders FC! |
** I am so sorry to those who read the blog post last week and were confused about the day of the writing celebration! It was in fact this week (Friday, March 31st). The K team had originally thought we wouldn't be done with our books until before Spring Break, hence the 4/7 date. I guess that is what I get for writing blog posts in advance!! SO sorry. All of their books are now on seesaw and they are bringing them home in their orange folders to share with you today! Again, my apologies if you made plans to come next week :( - The book fair is happening next week (4/3-4/7)! Before and after school every day the library will be open for students and families to take a look at what the great selection of books we have for sale. There will be lots of teacher recommended book lists as well as classroom book lists if you want to donate a book to our classroom library. Our classroom will be touring the book fair during the day on Tuesday. If you would like to send your student with money to spend at the book fair, please put it in their orange folder. ** Book-O-Rama is Wednesday (4/5). Send students dressed as their favorite book character and we will spend the day doing lots and lots of reading activities. The fun continues after school at 2:30 with teacher-directed literacy activities in the brick building. Activities include read alouds, art projects, sing-a-longs, photo-booth, literacy games, and more! Come hang out with us and celebrate QAE's love of books! - Report cards are coming home in orange folders on Friday (4/7). If you are not going out of town early, please let me know! | All grades, families and guests are welcome to join our 7th annual QAE Sounders Day and fundraiser for the 5th grade Fall 2017 trip to IslandWood!
